I apologize for being so rough on convincing folk to use skype (msn would work too). But please believe me, it is for your (and the alliance) best interests to have a 24/7 channel of communication.

I realize most of yall are used to using BD Chat to talk to each other, but I beg of you to see why BD Chat is inferior to a skype/msn.
Reasons BD Chat is Bad for Alliances…
1. Most people are not looking at it much.
2. The messages on it have no time stamp (What time message what posted)
3. After so much time (not sure exactly how long, but fairly quickly) messages disappear, leaving others in the dark.
4. Even when talking to someone in BD Chat, often times the person you are talking to will just become unresponsive (due to various factors, i.e looking at another website, left the room, forgot they were on BD… etc.
BD Chat IS good for posting coordinates since copy/paste is a pain.
Reasons Why Skype is GOOD for Alliances…
1. There is ONE dedicated chat room for every member of HAHA.
2. Even if you are not online, when you log into the HAHA Chat Room, all messages you missed are available to read, so you can catch up on what is happening.
3. Each message (even the ones you were not online for) are time stamped (meaning you can see what time the message was posted).
4. If a person you were talking to suddenly becomes unresponsive, you can use this feature called "Skype call" which will basically "call" their computer, making it ring loudly.
5. Another neat feature (if you choose to enable it) is registering your actually phone number on skye, which allow you to actually call an alliance members phone!
Bonus: I can call your computers (Skype calling computers is FREE) so I can practice my comedy bits, since I am a lot let nervous doing it for random strangers.
I see a lot of are using Skype now so that is great.
I am pretty sure ALL super-mega-l33t alliances use at least skype/msn. So let us at least try to level up from shawb to mids
